Introducing, One Of the NFT Art World's Newest, and Highly Desirable Crypto-Creators, @artbyzushka"Welcome to my NFT Psychedelic Vision." - @artbyzushka (which, by the way, is my social media handle across the board, and is the name I'm going by.)
Okay, so hold up a minute. What is NFT* Art? Let's start with a definition, because let's be honest - unless you are hip to the most current art trends on the market, you're lost (just like I was, at first.) Google: An NFT Artwork is a digital asset that exists completely in the digital universe—you can't touch it, but you can own it. An NFT can be any type of digital file: an artwork, an article, music or even a meme. That sounds interesting, right? It does to a growing crowd, especially Generation Z, who are making boatloads of cash creating their own unique style of NFT art. Remember that after-school job we (Gen Xers and older) folks got in high school - babysitting jobs, working at the local grocery market, cutting lawns on weekends - that sort of thing? Well, take a look at what our current generation is doing - they're working smart, not hard. Is this a good thing? Well, when anything involves creativity on any level, of course it is. And they are collecting NFT's, trading them, re-selling them. This is where I come in. I saw a piece of NFT art on Instagram. It was digital, animated, a looped video, GIF-type piece. It was like the art I've been making on the side as a hobby, and sharing some of them on social media because, well, where else could I put them? They're not like my paintings or printed photographs that I can hang on a gallery wall. The only outlet I knew where they could be displayed was on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. After taking a closer look at one of my favorite Instagram artist's art, called NFT's, I did my homework. I went to the site where his NFT's are available for sale. But then it seemed to get more complicated, before it stated to make sense. Crypto currency, Drops, Collections, Auctions - well, a couple of those terms were familiar. But then I went down the rabbit hole, so to speak. What is crypto currency and how does it work? It's not as scary as it sounds, that's for sure. Bottom line is this: With NFT Art, independent artists receive almost all of their profits; no gallery fees, no agent fees, just a small fee from whichever NFT app or site they decide to use. And I mean SMALL. And, every time artwork is resold on the market, the artist receives royalties for that piece of art. That's right, they continue to receive compensation each time their artwork is sold, and resold. It is a revolutionary turn for artists, who deserve to be paid for their art. Believe it or not, there is still a widespread stigma that haunts artists to this day. The belief that we are not valued, that our art is not worth much, if anything at all. We end up giving a lot of it (and our souls) away. It's tragic, and that's all about to end, now that there is a viable way to make an actual, and lucrative, income doing what we do best: we create. The creators, dreamers, music-makers, writers, poets, dancers, those who have been told to keep their day-jobs, be happy with your little hobbies, make sure you have a fallback plan because, you know, you can't expect to survive as an artist. That is all bullshit. It was then, and it is now. I recently jumped onboard, created an account on Open Sea, uploaded and priced my creative expressions, which I call my Psychedelic Vision Collection, and I was up and running. Each day I post a new Drop on social media. Each day I gain more and more followers, receive DM's in support of what I'm doing, and it's just a matter of time before my pieces are sold-out the same day. Listen, I'm not trying to convince anyone to take a chance at something new. Some artists love creating things that can be held in your hands, and hung on walls. I get it. I do it too. NFT's are just another expression of art, done in a digital way. I'm not ditching photography or painting. I'm enhancing it. Here's the pitch: To all the well-wishers, fans of art everywhere, buy one. I'm being blunt here, because I'm making art to sell. This is my life's calling, and I'm not going backwards. I appreciate very much, the words of encouragement, the ways you all inspire me to keep doing what I'm doing. I'm asking you to do something, an exchange for my time and talent. I believe in creative endeavors, more than I ever have in my life. Take a look at what I do, the beautiful gifts I offer to the world. It's not easy for an artist to be a salesperson too. It's difficult to ask someone to buy something I've made. But here I am, doing it now. I thank you, in advance, for your purchases. It's easy, all done with a touch on your phone or tablet, a click on your computer, and voila! You are the owner of an individual piece of digital art that no one else in the world has. Of course, limited editions are limited to only a few. If paintings are your preference, all of my originals are available for sale. ALL of them. It's time to clear them out, because there's a lot. It's like emptying out a closet, getting ready for a new season. I need room to keep painting, keep creating, keep my space clear. Email me if you'd like a private showing of my paintings, and I would be glad to set something up with you. Let's get the ball rolling. No GoFundMe or KickStarter here. I'm just straight up selling, and going back to school to learn welding. Metal art is on the horizon for me, in addition to all the rest that I create. I'm excited, and I'm counting on you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are appreciated! @artbyzushka Zushka Biros Creator Of All Things Magical. *A non-fungible token is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable.
