What Are You Grateful For?Definition of grateful: The feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful. I start each day with my gratitude journal. It's on the nightstand next to my bed. Every morning I grab it right after I'm done meditating and write a list of at least 10 things I am grateful for at that moment. I keep my list simple. If I repeat the same thing each day, that's fine too. (One of the things I am grateful for each morning is the sunrise.) Today's Gratitude List:
I usually throw 1 or 2 extras in my list, but there are times when it's not that easy to come up with even just 10 things. What is important for me to remember is that no matter what is going on in my life today, there is always something to be grateful for. Practicing this every morning helps me move into a more purposeful life, one full of more than enough. My stress level has been greatly reduced, my overall health is much better.
